Riendeau Sports official beginning goes back to 1967. After 1967 Expo at Montreal, construction industry experienced a slow-down, and it is at that moment that our father decided to use one of his land close to the 132 road to build his first recreative vehicle store.

It is at that place that I finalized for the first time a transaction contract. It was a Bombardier snowmobile, Elan model with a single cylinder, sold for 595 $ without taxes. We were in 1969.

Future expactations were really good, so we proceeded with our first building extension, which included our first storage room. a few years later in 1977, a second extension has been made, doubling the size of Riendeau Sports. It is as well at that moment that we started saling Subaru vehicles. After a while, Subaru suffered a slow-down and Hyundai came offering more interesting long term perspectives, so we changed our allegeance. now in 1992, another building was added, increasing space available for the selling of Hyundai products. Then in 1996, a second floor was added to the establishment, Riendeau Sports was again twice as big.

Finally, in 2004, Mr Gilles Richard joined us as a conselor and investor. Then, in 2005, Hyundai has been relocated in Sainte-Julie and it is in January 2009 that Mr Yves Paquette and Mme Johanne cloutier became partners of Riendeau sports, completing the actual team. It is that team that led the great moving near Highway 20 in Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, which has been completed in august 2009.

At the beginning of year 2012, Riendeau sports is more than ever ready to face the upcoming challenges and continue to stand as a reference in services and quality price rate in the area.
